Privacy statement

Euroculture consortium regards privacy of its applicants and students as a priority. Please read the statement carefully. You are requested to agree with the conditions of the privacy statement when submitting your application via the application tool

Via the online application tool, Euroculture consortium collects personal data, such as date of birth, nationality, etc., together with some documents detailing past education and professional experience of its applicants. This is required for the consortium to select students for scholarships as well as for self-funding positions. What is more, these data are used for such formalities as registration at the respective university and payment of tuition fees. The data such as the country of origin and the university delivering the Bachelor's degree may also be used to evaluate Euroculture PR activities in different countries. 
The data collected via the application tool are strictly shared only with the responsible persons in the partner universities. These include Euroculture staff as well as other responsible persons, such as international offices of the universities, visa administrators, housing officers, and the like. 
The University of Groningen, as the coordinating university of the consortium, is charged with collecting, storing and sharing the applicants' data with its partners. The data is stored relying on the facilities of our contractor iWink for 5 years after your application. 

Additionally, if your application is selected for Euroculture MA  (proposed for a scholarship, put on the reserve list or enrolled on a self-paying basis), its data may be used for the purposes of evaluating the Erasmus programmes, efficiently managing Erasmus projects, and producing statistics. Data could be made available to the Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, as well as to other stakeholders of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association.
