We are proud to announce that Arnab Dutta has won the Annual Liesbeth Brouwer Award 2015-2017 (ALBA) for his MA Euroculture thesis: The borders and the boundaries in the land of the quasi-masters: Continental Europe as seen through Bangla travel narratives, 1919-50.
The ALBA prize will be awarded to him at the Euroculture IP Gala Dinner in Krakow on the 30th of June.
Five theses were nominated for the ALBA thesis prize 2015-2017 and other nominees were: Jana Ehrhardt, Galit Goldstein, Simon de Leeuw and Sabine Volk.
Every year, the thesis that best reflects the interdisciplinary character of the Euroculture program is distinguished with the Annual Liesbeth Brouwer Award – or ALBA Thesis Award. The award was established to honor the memory of Liesbeth Brouwer, a lecturer whose contribution to developing the Euroculture program is truly invaluable.
